THE SILHOUETTE FROM THE TEASEL WEED PLANT SUNBURST I decide to photograph silhouettesI had been photographing the wildflowers and sunrise for about a half hour now when this scene unfolded. With the sun breaking the horizon just above the box elder trees that line the banks of Eakin Creek West, the sunlight illuminates the misty prairie landscape and colors the low lying mist with an orange tone. The silhouette of a teasel weed plant is being backlit by the soft filtered summer sunlight at Wildflower Park. (510 40)
