Description

Mintage: 54

Unfortunate pen mark in the left obverse field and a reverse stain on the reverse

The good: Strictly original paper with terrific printed ink and bold contrast

When the 1883 was initially released it omitted the word CENTS on the reverse having replaced it with E PLURIBUS UNUM

Neptune is the Roman God of the water and sea
