Eating Tomatoes with Neruda, 2022, textile collage, 35 x 40 in. / 88.9 x 101.6 cm. abstract Hot sculpted and assembled glassEating Tomatoes with Neruda, Susie Monday, 2022, textile collage, 35 x 40 in. 88. 9 x 101. 6 cm. Pablo Neruda wrote one of his odes as a homage to the tomato invading the kitchen and cavorting salt cellars and olive oil. This art quilt is one of a series based on this ode and my experience visiting the markets of Latin America.
