The Germans sure did and made it perfectly balanced, as is this recipe. Lots of malt, but not sweet, this is a beer to brew up in the Winter months and then crack up in early Spring, as the Germans traditionally do. Although who would turn down a MaiBock any other day of the year? Not me. We will crush all the grains, unless otherwise requested at checkout. Recipe kits do not come with grain
