Rubedo large art A single seam of cream

A single seam of cream pressed through absolute black — tapering as it rises

smouldering palette works powerfully against rich timber panelling

Some spaces demand stillness

slate and pale grey that seem to shift as the light changes

Her red lips

Rubedo large art A single seam of creamRubedo's weight is visible a field of deep crimson that recedes into darkness at its edges and releases into warm sienna at its core, as though the canvas holds something smouldering beneath the surface. The title draws from alchemy: rubedo, the reddening, the final stage of transformation where base matter becomes gold. Here, that threshold is rendered in paint not as event, but as atmosphere.
