Edwardian Niello Chain Necklace mid century It hangs from a shortAn excellent antique niello figaro chain dating from the early 20th century, circa 1910. Originally worn as a watch chain with dog clip and oversized bolt ring, it looks great worn as a necklace. The twisted links have a square profile with crisp edges which, combined with the contrasting stripes of niello inlaid silver, would have appeared thoroughly modern in its day (as indeed it still does).
