the fog was still about and peaked my interest to find subjects that would help compliment the atmosphere that the fog brought to the landscape

A pair of mallard ducks pass by as they and a couple hundred others spend some time in the area along Eakin Creek West and the South Fork Kishwaukee River before continuing on their migration

The lighting was beginning to fade and a soft light then materialized in which I set up my camera along Eakin Creek West and began shooting
