Lonesome Pine Vancouver There was plenty in factThis scene is inspired by a single tree in Naramata, BC. Starting with a sketch and then back to studio to complete the painting from memory. Although the scene has elements from Naramata looking across to the Summerland cliffs it is not specifically anywhere. The colors are chosen simply because i love them and seemed to create a dreamy world for me to rest in for a while.
