If you haven't heard the call of a common loon in the wild

A beautiful morning walking through the park with an abundance of wildflowers including these cup plants and ironweed plants in full bloom

Many species of wildflowers were in prime conditions to photograph including these hoary vervain that were near the blazing star flowers and false sunflowers that I had just photographed

I was looking to photograph the wildflowers and sunrise on this day in the park

There isn't anyone else around on the trails in which I can enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of the area

I crossed over the South Fork Kishwaukee River and noticed the sunlight lighting up the clouds and the prairie landscape with a remarkable and beautiful light. I set up the tripod, camera, composed the prairie landscape with the clouds being illuminated and began photographing. (499 171)
