making it very difficult to get close enough for a photograph

The raccoons were between three and four months old in this photograph

Otters are such entertaining characters to watch and I was excited when these ones allowed me to come out from behind my blind to get closer

and can leap 6 meters horizontally

As they got older and more curious we would often go for walks together in the woods. On this day they were intrigued by a bent limb that became a wonderful backdrop for this photograph.
