REFLECTIONS OF THE BOX ELDER RING-BILLED GULLS (LARUS DELAWARENSIS) Ominous clouds move swiftly over

Ominous clouds move swiftly over Wildflower Prairie during this spring evening as a lone box elder tree stands alone

A majestic sunset presents itself over Wildflower Park with bearded beggartick flowers

A winter afternoon snowfall covers this giant reed and wetland prairie landscape in Northern Illinois

With these hoary vervain flowers

As I was waiting and watching the light move across the landscape to light up this area in the early morning

REFLECTIONS OF THE BOX ELDER RING-BILLED GULLS (LARUS DELAWARENSIS) Ominous clouds move swiftly overAs I trek along the South Fork Kishwaukee River, I come across this beautiful scene with a box elder tree and its reflection onto the river with the recent snowfall blanketing the area. (614 03)
