Longs Peak towers over Bierstadt Lake during the morning light in Rocky Mountain National Park

As I was photographing this magical sunrise

I was fortunate to have seen this river duck

composed the sunlit bridge with the grasses in the foreground and snapped the shutter a couple times at Wildflower Park

This July morning started out like most other recent mornings with cool temperatures that brought mist to the low lying landscape here in Northern Illinois
