Description

I reached the trailhead before 5:00 am

composed the sunlit bridge with the grasses in the foreground and snapped the shutter a couple times at Wildflower Park

just long enough for me to get my camera ready which it then took to flight

A thick heavy fog surrounds the park on this wet morning as I gaze out overlooking Wildflower Lake only to be able to see about 50 yards ahead

After photographing a patch of wildflowers

A MOMENT OF PEACEFULNESS FLOWERING SPIKE I reached the trailhead beforeA moment of calm and stillness resides at Wildflower Lake just before the rains start back up again with a soft light illuminating this scene in Northern Illinois. (583 46)
