Lapostolle Chardonnay Cuvee Alexandre Atalayas Vineyard 2013 Color:White apples and grapefruit with aA ripe, juicy style, with pear, apple and fig fruit framed by nicely integrated piecrust and brioche notes. The long finish lets a hazelnut hint chime in. Smooth, tropical and pure on the nose, with pineapple as the lead fruit. The palate is solid and full bodied, with pineapple, papaya, honey and toasted flavors. Not oaky but it is well oaked, and thus the finish is warm, toasty and creamy.
