Cup plants grow abundantly around Wildflower Lake and throughout much of Wildflower Park

I noticed a few tall purple flowers standing out from the other wildflowers and knew that those were the blazing stars

I was looking for some good wildflower composition to photograph with the sunrise and came upon this scene of common milkweed in beautiful condition
