Body I, 2024, oil on canvas, 60 x 48 in. / 152.4 x 121.92 cm. abstract painting Carry the yin/yang (Taijitu) symbolBody I, Bridey McGlynn, 2024, oil on canvas, 60 x 48 in. 152. 4 x 121. 92 cm. This work investigates an obsessive observation of my own body. By layering multiple perceptions of myself, I hope to create a more accurate image of the body as I know it. An image that is fragmented, and exaggerated, weaving in and out of moments of certainty.
