Light Weave 10, 2024, inkjet on silk, 20 x 16 in. / 50.8 x 40.64 cm. painting Long BeachLight Weave 10, Carol Mell, 2024, inkjet on silk, 20 x 16 in. 50. 8 x 40. 64 cm. I used a slow shutter app to take multiple long exposures, each layered onto the previous one, often turning the camera 90 degrees resulting in crosses and squares of light. These are printed onto translucent silk formatted for inkjet and hung from twine or stick.
