WW1 Canadian Army 45th Victoria Battalion Cap Badge – J.R. Gaunt Montreal WW2 remembrance Crowned suspension with crossed swordsThis is an original and scarce cap badge for the 45th Victoria Regiment, a Canadian militia unit with roots in British Columbia. The badge is made of brass, and it features the regiments number "45" beneath a Kings crown, a Union Jack shield, and the motto Where Duty Leads. The reverse is stamped by well known maker J. R. Gaunt, Montreal. One of the two suspension lugs has been cut.
