WWI Enamel Mess Kit small the string may have some

the string may have some fading / discoloration

It is a little dirty and there is no lid

Every German citizen was required by law to own a gas mask and emergency medical supplies in case of air raids and this is one of them

The chain is also rather short

WWI Enamel Mess Kit small the string may have someGreat War Heer green gray enamel mess kit in rather good condition. The enamel is actually in very nice condition with only a few very small internal chips. but this one was also painted green originally on the outside over the enamel and much of that has worn away. The outside is mostly a odd green color enamel but some blue and gray enamel is mixed in. The inside is mostly gray enamel.
