Run by Jean Michel Deiss since 1981 and now in the hands of his son Mathieu, the domaine is a leading proponent of biodynamic viticulture and the historical practice of complantation, in which multiple grape varieties are co planted, harvested and vinified together as a single field blend. An Alsace blanc from co planted parcels in the village of Riquewihr, drawn from
