The main difference is that the frog is not smiling on wartime tins. The listing is for both tins, one in red brown color and one in light brown. (They are red and orange colored now). The tins still have shoe polish inside, although it is rather dried out. If so desired, you could replace it with black polish, relabel the tin and use it at events. I have seen wartime examples
