Walnut Street Twilight Beige and sometimes I listen toA mild afternoon gives way to early evening looking east along Walnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. The whole catalyst for this painting was the subtle gradation of pinks, purples, and blues in the sky behind the tall buildings, punctuated by manmade lights below. I love it when Mother Nature and mankind harmonize.
