Antique Mother of Pearl Pendant Set in Sterling Silver on a Silver Chain Oxidized Silver 25 inches aroundMother of Pearl is a shell. It comes from the inside of mollusk shells. This particular pieces are antique gaming counters, poker chips, or trading coins. They were produced during the Regency Era in Great Britain from 1795 to 1837. It's crosshatched pattern is hand etched and it is set in Sterling Silver. It hangs on an 18 inch sterling silver chain. I am so happy to be able to give this beautiful antique piece a new life in a lovely piece of jewelry
