There is a modern lock nut on the back but you could pick up the correct nut

German Insulated Trouser Liner Size II (36" Waist) wehrmacht All the tablets are markedOriginal German winter trousers. These are made a bit like underwear with a drawstring waist and loops to attach them inside of pants. They are made from a very silky, shiny material, possibly a rayon or something similar. These appear to be a size II. The waist is 36" but can be cinched tighter. There is a yellow stamped R. B. Nr. with a size inside but it is very difficult to make out. This pair looks basically unused with some dirt and age from
