The Owl continued to hunt right up to the start of totality

The rapid motion

it launches into the crisp air

He glided effortlessly over the fields

marked silently by memories of wings and watching eyes

Crystals Print style:16x20 Matted Print With Black Frame The Owl continued to huntOn a cold February afternoon, a Short eared Owl perches atop a snow covered fence post. Its golden eyes scan the wintry landscape, sharp and discerning. Suddenly, with a graceful leap, it launches into the crisp air. Snow crystals scatter like tiny diamonds in the strong light, dancing on the breeze as the owl takes flight, its wings a silent whisper against the vast fieldscape.
