The Bakelite nut looks a little chewed up and cracked where someone aggressively tried to free it up probably using pliers rather than penetrating oil

This pin was used for service hats and garrison caps

There was also a small bundle of additional training material in the back which appears to be a later expansion to the book

Brown Enamel Container (Similar to Vehicle Kraftstoff Canister) tin The coins are dated 1937Original German brown enamel canister. In really rather good condition with a few dings in the enamel. Peak camping accessory. It does have a red rubber gasket in good condition. These are also fun because a nearly identical canister was also used with the kubelwagen and other vehicles, but usually just painted not enamel. It was called the Kraftstoff anlasser.
