I caught this woman in Center City

Yellow Creek Falls in western North Carolina glows with amazing sunlight and peak foliage during a late October afternoon

I thought that the added textural component allowed the fall foliage to shine brilliantly

This was along the Tennessee River in downtown Knoxville

Study, Autumn Embers Summer adding to its appealBrilliant fall foliage initially drew my eye to this subject along the Middle Prong River in the Great Smoky Mountains, but what really intrigued me was the foreground water cascade. The Smokies are interesting because the mountain streams often take on a turquoise aspect that I tend to associate more with the ocean. It's pretty cool to see that same play of color in Appalachia, and, in this subject, it made for an amazing array of colors.
