It fits an American size 38 pretty well

but it does looks somewhat sturdy

I would recommend scrubbing the inside with a wire brush until absolutely every surface was shiny aluminum and then clean it and maybe use a food grade sealer to line it

It is in good condition, although there is a broken piece on the battery box the broken piece is in the battery box. The crank is the original one for the phone. The handset could be, but is likely a replacement.
