Passing by Cherry Blossoms Borders & Matting:White Border Santa Lion (Print Only) byThis is the seventh artwork I created for my "Year in Japan" series, of which there are 12 in total one for each month. The series focuses on everyday scenes in Japan, each one featuring a lone man walking away from the viewer near the centre of the work. The style of illustration is inspired by Studio Ghibli animation and Japanese woodblock prints. This illustration shows my lone figure walking along a cobblestone laneway, past traditional Japanese
