Sarracenia 'Reptilian Rose' Virginia Its form blends characteristics fromSarracenia 'Reptilian Rose' is a hybrid of Sarracenia oreophila, Sarracenia flava, and Sarracenia leucophylla. Its name comes from the lizard skin like veining on the throat and inner hood, along with the rose pink colour of mature pitchers. The pitchers reach 70 85 cm in height, with early spring growth being the largest and most vividly coloured. Heavy venation, inherited from its Sarracenia oreophila 'Sand Mountain' parent, appears as the pitchers
