EBC's "G" Series grooved shoes are the easy upgrade that fixes the two things drum brakes hate most: water and grit. The trick is in the lining. Multiple angled grooves are cut across the friction surface to channel dirt, dust, water, and debris away from the braking area instead of trapping it against the drum.
