The reel rests perfectly on your thumb and it is easy to operate under duress or in harsh weather conditions
If using a thicker fish like halibut or cod, it will likely require a longer cooking time
The potential advantage over such long-range casts is that, with a rotating spool on a baitcaster, there should be less distance lost towards the end of a cast (where fixed spool reels experience more drag effect from the rapidly-emptying spool)
If you use this enough to wear it out, you will be more fussy with your next purchase, because a reel that feels this slick at a price this low shows theres no excuse for poor performance at more money
Either way, if you are looking to get into bait finesse fishing without spending an arm and a leg, the ARK Fishing Gravity BFS Casting Reel is a smart choice
