Details The Tekota is a small sized SW boat fishing or and/or light trolling reel
Too small and you starve the display
Look for models with saltwater-resistant materials and drag systems
#14 I've got a pair of original 507s - no idea what I paid for one that I've probably had thirty odd years but I got another from a little stall in a back street Skegness market just last summer for the princely sum of fifteen quid It's a bit tatty - the side plate has lost its '507' moniker and been roughly brush painted but it's mechanically sound and the infamous 'part5579' has already been removed, allowing the reel to backwind
Braid will last a long time, providing you don't have to cut out snarls, shortening it beyond its effective length
