Very reliable with twist on/off/mode, but way more expensive than the Kootek Lumintop Tool 2.0 This is a great small, IP68 650 lumen AA flashlight

Each flashlight features an adjustable focus slide that switches between a wide flood beam and a tight spot beam, and a side-mounted power button for easy one-handed operation

It uses replaceable batteries, which I love, but it has a much longer runtime per battery (700 hours on low compared to 170 hours)

But once the snow gets deep, the nose naturally rises, the tail sinks just enough, and suddenly you're putting far less effort into staying afloat

The trade-offs are obvious though, 180 lumens does not last and the sealed battery means it is disposable in the long run
