Use a vice or grips to hold the disc whilst drilling
pay attention to lashing it tightly
After fishing with the reel with a variety of line combinations Ive found that the fin works very well when fishing with straight nylon or fluorocarbon lines and does indeed do a good job of preventing line from getting misaligned, reduces loops and dreaded under spool runs
I recommend this reel to a friend who used another brand , hes now using nothing but these reels
They also offer test rides so you can try out the products before you buy them
