Best Brands Lews: Lews began manufacturing reels in 1973 with the launch of the revolutionary BB1 Speed Spool and is currently headquartered in Springfield, Missouri
Because of their design, the only resistance working against the lure during a cast is the weight of the fishing line (not much) and a little bit of friction as the line moves through the rod guides (again, not much)
This reel will cast a mile and it worked real good for speckeled trout
Great little reels Unbelievably, it's possible to get the Black Max Reel PLUS a rod for less than $100 This is my Amazon Associates link and while it does not alter the retail price you pay - any qualifying purchases earn me around 4% commission (with my thanks)
