I honestly dont understand how the deluxe has thicker fabric, yet is less absorbent (but even the REI website says the Lite absorbs 8x its weight and deluxe is only 6.5x.) Between the longer drying time, less absorbency, and the dog fur that is constantly stuck to this towel its my least favorite travel towel
